Original PS3 has the L2/R2 triggers curved the "wrong" way, making it uncomfortable to press, or making them easy to slip. These triggers correct that by curving it the right way.

Imagine if gun triggers curve the other way.

I own these triggers and refuse to play with controllers without them.

Am I missing something, or are these for people who can't push the L/R 2 buttons without I guess, dropping the controller?

Huh. I've been solely FPS playing on the ps3 for like 8 years and never noticed that I'll have to try them to see if it improves my stats. Cheers Smilie

These are fantastic. Started using them for GT6 and never looked back. Makes the DualShock3 more enjoyable. One problem, these fit my OG imported satin silver DS3 fine but when I transferred them to my new blue domestic DS3, I recently purchased, they kept popping off. So I'm not sure if there is a slight design difference between triggers on these DS3 controllers. I'm hoping these new triggers are designed for the new controllers.

not wrong just different than xbox. they made dualshock controllers for like 15 year before the 'problem' arose. still the best controller by miles.

I've been looking for something like this for a while, $2 with $1 credit on Steam games is a no brainer! Thanks OP.

Calm down, fanboy. Dualshock has always had ergonomic issues. Just because you weren't aware of them and there wasn't anything better doesn't mean the issues didn't exist. Dualshock had smooth joysticks for DS1, DS2, and DS3 yet added a ripple around the joystick of DS4. That was always a problem, Dreamcast and GameCube both had excellent joysticks, yet Sony finally addressed it on the third redesign.

I bought and these several years ago when PS3 was still the console of choice.

Pros: They really do help with ergonomics and improve player accuracy. I loved them for COD: Black Ops II. I went from an average scoring player to top 25% in every match.

Cons: They don't stay on well. I tend to be aggressive with my button and analog stick pushing and these things didn't stay on very well. I found myself constantly reattaching triggers/caps.

For $2, they are totally worth it. I think I paid closer to $10 for them back then.
