Slickdeals' Best Fire Deals emails arrive after the offer is dead

I'm not sure how they got turned on (maybe because I finally verified my email address) but I have started getting SD "Slickdeals' Best Fire Deals" emails. Today I got two of them. One was for "PetSmart In-Store Coupon: Any $7+ Purchase for $7 Off at PetSmart". I went to the site to read the post and discovered that it was valid today only and was originally posted at 7am. Clearly this was a top deal before 11:25pm, when it's too late for almost anyone other than those on the west coast to take advantage of it.

Earlier today I got an email alert for "Verizon Smart Rewards Members: $5 Verizon Wireless Gift Card for 500 Points at Verizon Wireless Rewards Program". When I checked out that thread, I discovered that it had been marked dead hours earlier. Another useless email alert.

These email alerts have the potential to be useful but not at the time they're being sent, at least based on these two examples.

if you do one of their gift card raffles they add you to an email list for additional entries. I nearly use the slick deals android app exclusively. this post triggered by gift card alert. I get the recap emails your describing but they are daily at best I believe. You need to set an alert yourself for a email asap when the deal posts and set the rating to any.

Those alerts send instantly the moment the deal reaches the threshold required. If they are delayed past that, it would be an issue with your email provider. We don't intentionally delay them at all Smilie

can you let me know what time you received each of those emails so I can compare them to the send times we've got?

PetSmart - 9/13/2016 11:25:26 PM
Verizon - 9/13/2016 5:36:13 PM

Both arrived a minute after sending.

I've been experiencing the same issue for about a week now. I get the emails around 2-3 PM in the afternoon and I noticed that the expired deals were posted after that time on the previous day. For example, today I got an expired deal in my normal 3 PM email that appears to have been posted at 5 PM yesterday. It would be nice if I could configure my daily e-mails to arrive later or be more clear in the email that a deal is expired (or not include it)
