Amazon's customer service is horrible. I got a promotional email for laptops and the promotional item was $532 and the list price $550. But on the web site it shows the list price so i contacted CS and they said they never sent the email and havent sent me any emails since June which is a lie because I've been getting them forever. They wouldn't even let me forward the email to them to prove it. They didnt want anything to do with it. And she just left the conversation. Now I'm wondering if I want to ever do business with them again if they treat their customers like that. I really want that laptop but I dont want to buy it from them. I guess I'll have to hope someone who sells it will price match it. Anyone else have similar experiences? I would advise to stay away from them but I'm sure everyone wouldn't take that advice. lol. end of rant.

Amazon CS is usually decent. I did one time have a problem with a newbie with Subscribe and
Save. I reported them and Amazon corrected it. Amazon should send you a CS review. Complain.

How did you contact them?

I have found amazon phone support to be terrible. However, when I contact them via email they are always helpful.

yeah amazon cs used to be really great but i don't know what happened this time. havent received a cs review email yet. i used chat to contact them and checked the box that says to have the chat sent to my email and it never did so i have no proof of what was said unless they kept a copy. i'm guessing because it was a negative convo. same with the review email. other than the laptop, i can live without amazon and thinking of closing my account so i wont be tempted to buy from them...

I have never had an issue with this before. I would call them back or try chatting again with a new person.
