I was shopping for some basic speakers for my computer and came across this deal.

I received mine already (shipped quickly) and I'm pretty blown away by the value here. These sound much better than their price tag might indicate.

Newegg via eBay [ebay.com]

Amazon - 4.2 out of 5 stars [amazon.com]

Also, check your email as eBay is doing a 10% eBay bucks event right now!

Didn't find it posted here... Hope it helps someone!

Does anyone have these? If so, good? Or should I keep looking? My speakers are starting to go.
Thanks Big Grin

Many don't realize it, but you can use speaker systems like this to improve the sound of your TV if it has a headphone jack. Much cheaper than a sound bar if all you need is to no longer have a tinny sounding TV. Your remote will control the volume.

As I said, I already got mine and think they're pretty good for the price. There are thousands of Amazon reviews you can read through and overall are at 4.3 out of 5 stars with 7% of ratings being 1 star. They're a mix of complaints about build quality/lemons and sound quality. For $18, I don't think you can do better. If you want higher build quality and sound quality, you'll need to open up the wallet a bit wider.

I own these (non-refurb). I've been happy with them for a few years. audio quality is great for the price range, but only good on an absolute scale. my biggest complaint is there is no separate dial for the sub. I have lived in a few apartments and a duplex, and feel like I'm blasting my neighbors with those low db. I've resorted to stuffing tissues and socks in front of the speaker.

This works great with the Echo Dot. I have an older version of this set on my Gen 1. Just bought one for the Gen 2 I just pre-ordered.

Looks like this was $15 back in January but if I'm not mistake it was also a TD liquidation sale before they were acquired, so I'm assuming less than $20 new is quite rare. In that case, $20 refurb speakers with sub is not bad at all as I've been debating just grabbing the z200 refurb for $14 off Newegg forever now.

I've had these for...I don't know...a decade? Years and years at the least. like someone else mentioned I wish you could control the bass on the sub (townhouse, feel bad for the neighbors sometimes) but aside from that they're great!

Had the 5.1 version of this. Did not like how it affected some programs with that sound modification button. (Whether I had or had not pressed it)
