AT&T GoPhone is now offering multi-Line Discount - Upto $20 off per line.

Works out to $5 off 2nd line, $10 off 3rd, $15 off 4th and $20 off on the 5th line in the family plan.

More details here -
AT&T GoPhone [att.com]

Gophone is still more expensive than plans like cricket, but you get un-throttled LTE speed, rollover data and better overall support with GoPhone from ATT. That with discounted recharges works out better for many.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

$170 a month for 5 lines @ 3gb each vs $100 a month for 5 lines on Cricket (forget the data allowance). Un throttled but meh, not like I'm using my phone to download torrents. Sticking with Cricket, thanks anyway ATT!

they might because things like wifi calling make it easier on att/crickets network and doesnt cost them anything. most qcom soc's will have that incorporated

Doesn't really help if you just have 2 lines, since the $5 discount on the second is offset by the inability to get the autopay credit on the second line. Adds up as you up the # of lines, and is convenient to have to manage one account.

but it costs them revenue, like they used to charge $0.25 per text, for like what, 256 bytes of data?

no, i'm talking about the carrier industry, long ago.

they need to squeeze every little ounce of revenue. doesn't cost them much to do doesn't mean they will make it not cost you much to have.

True, like charging $10/mo to enable tethering. Its a 2.5gig plan damn it!
