Same as Seiki, Made for Target as Element.

Edit: I think I found the parent company:

TongFang Global possesses wide-covered, well-established sales and service networks. It has set up 27 sales branches and offices, 1500 shops and more than 1000 service centres across the China. Overseas business mainly focuses on OEM and ODM business, and significant success has been seen in the world's TV markets in recent years with the self-owned brands, Element and Seiki, and affiliated brands, ORION, Westinghouse and Mitashi. Exportation of TV's covers more than 20 countries and regions around the world like US, England, Germany, Australia, Russia, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.

Do they ship or instore only? Think it might be this model: http://www.elementelectronics.com/e4-series-551/

Edit: can't read. In-store only which sucks for those of us that don't have a Meijer nearby or even in their state.

If its 120hz, it would be worth it for sure. Good catch.

Yes, it looks like the model # is E4SFC551. In the last few days, two local Meijers had lined up boxes of these models in the center aisle in front of the Electronics section. Strangely, unlike the spec sheet at the link above, the box indicates that it has optical output. The signs indicated an original price of $599.99, although as of yesterday, one store had a then-current sale price of $449.99. I assume that as of today, the signs will indicate the two-day sale price of $369.99, but I don't have time this morning to confirm.

No, Meijer isn't having any percent-off MPerks sales this weekend. Your only option would probably be to check your MPerks account to see if you have any MPerks Rewards that would apply to this. I've seen a $6 off $60 Electronics reward offered recently, but the terms are unclear whether TV's are included. Also, this TV would either fully satisfy, or go a long way toward satisfying, the usual $XX off $XXX Total Purchase reward that is usually available.

My MPerks account currently has coupons for savings off of other sizes of Element TV's - for example, $150 off of an 50" Element TV, but there's nothing for the 55". I don't know if the 50" model also happens to be on sale right now, but I would doubt it.

Unfortunately, Meijer also recently "improved" their credit card rewards to eliminate the possibility to earn 15% off General Merchandise rewards that could be stacked with the %-off MPerks sales.

$379 this week, just picked one up. $6 mperks for electronics purchase and $3 for general purchase over $75, so at least that cuts back on the tax a little.
