I was just about to pull the trigger on a Dell XPS 13 laptop and noticed this sale on the top banner:

"Fall Clearance Sale on XPS PCs at Dell Outlet!
For a limited time, save 30% on all XPS PCs. Use coupon: XPSPC30%
Sale expires on September 21th, 12:59am ET"

Randomly saved some money.

I did a quick SD search and didn't see this posted, so here you go!

Not nearly as good as yesterday's business sale. The specs in yesterday's machines were twice as good and less money.

Maybe some luck with desktops but nothing remotely slick on the laptop side of this deal.

Kaby Lake model just launched with an October 4th release. Battery life improvement might be worth waiting.

Edit: I can only see a $1600 model listed is that's all that is left?

I did the chat earlier today because I saw nothing in the inventory for XPS 13s and 15s and the rep found a large variety of both. I was able to order an XPS 15 9550 with:

i7-6700HQ
8GB DDR4
256GB NVME SSD
1920x1080 Display
GTX 960M

for $727 before tax.

FYI for everybody. I accidently ordered a laptop earlier today without going through the Discover portal for the 5% cash back. I started an online chat to cancel and reprocess the thing and before I even got far enough to tell them I wanted to keep the laptop but change the payment they immediately gave me another $50 off, plus let me reorder the thing to get the 5% back. They must be desperate to clear out their stock.

No, that's being going on for years now. They do make a note of it, so use it on something big.

Ah, good to know. I've never seen a company throw money at something so quickly. It was less than 60 seconds into the chat.
