The Wii would be a great choice for you son. Nintendo releases consoles and games target to the younger generation and for families that like to play games together. Your son can play the Mario galaxy games, super mario kart, kirby, etc, there are plenty of games you can find for your son. The only knock is that this isn't the newest Wii console, and I think they are coming out with a new one. But this is a great option if your not too concerned about having the newest product, your son will have tons of fun.
I bought this not that long ago. This plus a few minutes on Google will let you play anything you want on it. Mine plays all wii games, gamecube, nes, snes, and more.
have you ever actually bought a console USED from a GS store? Could you even imagine what a blind console purchase that is SHIPPED to you looks like? Good god.... I'm cringing just thinking about it.

Not bad, considering I bought my last new one for about 130.

Yeah it also has a 100% perfect colecovision emulator. I love the Wii most out of all consoles ever made. 50 bucks with a soft mod would be an excellent deal.
