Anything to do before my 3yr Lenovo warranty expires?

ms2000 1,308 28 September 15, 2016 at 02:47 PM
I did not use it for a while but now I started using it - it is a Lenovo T430s

The warranty is on its last legs - is there anything I better take care before time runs out?

The warranty will most likely only cover broken/failed components. If you're worried I would make sure every port/connector works as intended and that you don't have any issues with flickering screen or stuck/broken keys on your keyboard.

Other than something being obviously in error or broken there isn't a "warranty tuneup" or something like that.

I don't think they want to fix flickering screen.
Last time I sent my laptop with flickering screen problem. They sent it back 2 weeks later. Still flickering screen.
I don't think they even touch it. Just leave it there for 2 weeks, then send it back to me.

An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone
