Hello everyone, my first deal post. Not an incredible one, but a ok-ish one.

Store: B&H Photo Video
$49.95
CyberLink PowerDVD 16 Ultra Edition (Boxed) [bhphotovideo.com]

Amazon will likely price match on their own.

Store: Amazon
$51.94
Cyberlink PowerDVD 16 Ultra PC Disc [amazon.com]

You'll have to go to BestBuy or call them up to price match B&H or Amazon.

Store: BestBuy
$79.99
PowerDVD 16 Ultra - Windows [bestbuy.com]

Free Shipping should be possible on all three. The deal is for the boxed/physical media only.

Please let me know when VLC can playback encrypted Blu-ray discs with full menu support. Until then, this type of software has a place for some folks out there.

You need a drive for that too. On the other hand this software does an outstanding job with upconversion of Bluray disc content to 4K.

Why is download version costing twice? They can make more profit and help save planet if it's at least a penny less.

PowerDVD 16 Ultra has upconversion to 4K which Leawo does not. But still for a free software it looks pretty good.

Also has 3D blu ray and iso playback, which Leawo nor any other free software has that I've found. This is all I would use it for, so I might go for it. Looking back, it'll probably be three months before this goes on sale again and it may or may not be less...
