These are absolute junk. half of the ones new in the stores are seized up .

I have a few Craftsman Mach and Extreme Grip tools; some people say they are gimmicky - I think the Extreme Grip tools are very legit and some of the Mach tools are becoming classics like the T-handle driver. BTW, I have obtained these tools at very little or no cost at all due to Shop My Way points.

That being said, this wrench is probably the least useful tool. I have not been able to use it in any household/DIY situations and the one time I thought it would help, the ratcheting type action that Craftsman claims will speed up work failed completely and I ended up using regular wrenches.

The smaller Mach wrench set seems a lot more effective with a similar mechanism. I do not own a set but would seriously consider if I needed more wrenches. I see a similar set marketed by Husky at Home depot.

This big wrench just seems too clumsy and heavy.

As many reviewers say, 1/2 of the wrenches are stuck at the store. However, this can be fixed by messing around with the little adjustment screw that can be accessed by a small allen wrench, at the base of the wrench head. My wrench stuck and I was able to fix it this way. Thats why I decided to hang on to it instead of chucking it completely.

I would not recommend this tool unless you are getting sentimental about Sears which is going out of business sometime in the very near future, and have a bunch of SYWR points to blow.
