Palmetto State Armory's website offers the S&W Bodyguard .380 in FDE with 2 6-rd mags & a softcase for $269 (+$9.00 shipping) for a TOTAL COST $278.00

In the past this has been posted for $260 in all-black (2015) but still a very good deal in today's firearm market.

This model DOES NOT HAVE A LASER.

SKU: 52025

For comparison, Cabelas carries this firearm in black w/o laser for $349 +tax

Bottom line, this is a very decent deal on a pocket pistol which actually feels great in the hand, conceals well on small people and shoots much more comfortable than the ubiquitous Ruger LCP.

I own this protector with the laser. I would like to get it without the laser. I am happy with mine and recommend this or the LCP Ruger for a .380 option. These are very difficult to obtain good accuracy due to the heavy trigger but most usage should be within ten feet and at that range you shouldn't miss the slime you are protecting yourself from. 2 mags is a nice adder that I didn't get when I bought mine a few years ago. I had to buy separate.

Horrible company to deal with. I'd avoid at all costs. Check out GunBroker.com or just about any other place but these guys.

And, If you don't think 1 person's experience matters, check out their horribly low Reseller Rating:

A whopping 1.75 out of 10. Down from being 2.2 last month. They're on a roll...

Tell us more about your experience, please. -That may be somewhat useful info to have. But unverifiable reviews left on resellerratings site may not be as valuable to would-be buyers since everyone can find customers who've had a bad experience with virtually every retailer.

I myself have not purchased from PSA (yet) nor do I own this firearm so I am not qualified to offer a review on either other than to submit the price comparison.

I never had issues with them aside from slow shipping, it took as long as a month with 2-3 weeks being the average wait.

From one of my previous posts on a PSA deal:
Those morons had their order fulfillment broken for over 2 weeks for processing orders but their web site made no mention of this. They, possibly illegally, still immediately charged credit cards for the orders but had no way they could ship them within 30 days. This is incredibly deceptive and horrible for any customer. They failed to reply to emails from me for over 2 weeks, who knows how long for others. I had to resort to a credit card dispute due to lack of response and lack of refund. When they finally did reply they just sent our a form letter saying they were down. No offer of anything to make it up to affected customers. Just a big middle finger to everyone affected. Horrible customer service and just morons at this company.

Same here... I've ordered from them a bunch of times in the last 3-4 years- 100% of those orders came through.... some shipped in a couple days, some in a couple weeks... but never didn't get what I ordered at the price I ordered it for.

In the last 4 years I have bought 2 lowers, 3 uppers, 8 magazines, many many boxes of ammo, a ruger 10/22 and 2 different optics all from PSA. While I agree that wait times can be long sometimes when ordering from them, I have never had a screw up in my order. The longest wait I have had was 3 weeks and that was because it was during one of their sales. (Never charged me until the item was shipped and sent me emails throughout the whole process so I didn't feel scammed.) Shortest time I have waited was 3 days. On average it takes about a week.

So I have no idea why that site gives them a 1.7 (cabela's is a 2, amazon is a 4?) but in my personal experience, they have average shipping times, great deals, and a decent selection. I wouldn't give them a 10, but I would give them an 8 out of 10.

Multiple purchases from them over the past few years, including pistols. Never had an issue with them, the longest I waited for anything was a week for a handgun shipment. They state shipping times on their site and this shipment was within the window, so no complaints.
