Just picked up at my local Costco. They had the Hoover Floormate Deluxe w/ Foldable handle, model FH40165, for $99.99 - $40 instant rebate = $59.99+tax. Couldn't believe my eyes, as previous lowest price I ever saw on the new ones was ~$93.

Website has it for the normal $99.99; I didn't see it in the other Costco in my area (but didn't look hard, either), so I'm sure YMMV. Slick if you can get it, though Smilie

Would be nice to know if the $40 instant rebate is nationwide or specific to one location.

Price confirmed in California. Looks like it's not regional.

These are $70 with free shipping at Hoover.com. They're having a 60% off sale and you don't have to lug one home from Costco.

The one that's $70 is the regular FloorMate Hard Floor cleaner, not the Deluxe like this deal. I'm not sure what the differences are, though, aside from the brush types that come with each one.

Has anyone had experiences with either to chime in? Considering the one for $70 since I don't have a Costco membership

Water tanks on the non deluxe model are way too small. Unless you have a very small home, stay away.
Also deluxe comes with two brushes (1 for flat floors one for tiles) vs one brush with the regular model. Brushes are quite expensive so it's an additional savings in the long run.

I've had a non deluxe model fo 8+ years and prefer it over my steam mop. It picks up the dirty mop water and leaves floors extra clean. I can feel the difference when walking barefoot in my all tile home. If I can get deluxe for $60 I'd upgrade cause original is rather heavy.
