This is an awesome mouse. Ergonomical. Been using it for years now and even got a new replacement. I like the fast scroll feature to quickly run through large documents or long pages. Highly recommended.

same here, even with my 3 sloppy teenagers, mouse still works like a champ. have to clean out the hair and doritos crumbs once per year though. the venerable m705 rocks. only noticed a single issue with win7 64 bit and chrome, the scrolling is either too fast or too slow, even after using setpoint

As someone who finally recently got rid of this mouse, save yourself the hassle. Google "Marathon M705 double clicking when I single click" or anything similar, the double click issue autofills for a number of search strings related to this mouse. It only lasted about a few months to a year each time Logitech replaced it. They used faulty extremely low-click-life switches for the buttons, and it will randomly start double-clicking when you single click. It happened to all 5 of the M705's I received, Logitech was 'kind' enough to replace it each time, but it was extremely annoying, and a huge hassle to deal with every time it started up again. I tried disassembling some of the broken ones and cleaning, stretching/unbending, re-seating the switch, nothing helped. This was a bum line of mice, and there are better options for this price that won't ish the bed after minimal use. The one good thing I can say about it was the battery life was incredible, a single battery outlasted the life of all but one of the mice.

I've had this mouse for a year with no issues. Dropped it many times. Still using original battery. This is my daily driver at work every day. I highly recommend it.
