This is the same situation with the one I purchased.
I would not place the order online. Just go to the store and purchase it. Website will ring you out at 154, store will be 40$

$30.-$45.00 near me----yeah, but none in stock----good for those that can get-----------------repped, especially for the "ready-made" Brickseek link.

be advised this "true hepa" only refers to airborne particulates.
it will be useless against odors and chemicals and viruses which
require reactants in the filter media to get removed from the air.

If it's pickup today (meaning that they pull from the store stock and not do site-to-store) then it will adjust automatically upon pickup. However, they do not credit back the tax automatically, which is BS, so if you can make it to the store quickly then buying it in person is your best option.

Wow. I bought one of these Thursday night and the top of the box was beaten up like it had been opened and resealed before. I figured I would get home and check it out. Everything still seemed to be in plastic, the front grill was taped to the unit, etc, so I put it together, plugged it in, and had been running it for almost a day and a half. I wanted to see how dirty the filters were already so I opened it up and there are no filters inside. It looks like someone bought it, stole the filters, and returned it. Now it's going to have to go back.

Maybe it's just as well if it's like as PetSpy said and it's not really an odor remover. I don't have much issues with allergies (my wife does with pollen) so I bought it primarily to clean the air in the living room, which is where the dogs spend the most time.

Thanks OP! Brickseek showed 2+ in stock, but the Walmart app showed it was out of stock. I got the last 2 at my local store for $40 each. This is the first time I've been able to get a Walmart clearance deal!

I personally use an austin air hm-400, but they are quality and expensive.
i wash the fiber filter every 4 months, and replace the drum every 4 years.
