You probably don't need to buy this book I'll summarise the general idea: Buy only what you need, but don't get addicted to the rush of buying, because happiness comes from experience, not things. Get enough stuff to have better experiences, but then focus on the experiences themselves. You'll save yourself a lot of wasted money, and possibly a midlife crisis.

one more piece of advice to add:

Don't spend too much time on Slickdeals because you'll end up buying more shit you don't need. SD will definitely encourage that "rush of buying" you mentioned. Stick Out Tongue
