Scott Snyder's new 52 run was great. Court of Owls arc and Death of the Family/Endgame are some of the favorites in my collection.

Court of Owls vol 1 was $3.99 last year. I got it and thought it was pretty good. Picked up the other two for $5.99.

Yeah, I don't want to poo poo this deal, especially with the freebies, but Amazon has had better prices on these in the past.

In July 2014, Amazon kindle: Batman: The Complete Hush, Dark Knight Returns, The Long Halloween (complete), and Batman Vol #1 Court of Owls collections were $2.99 each (not to mention The Black Mirror, The Killing Joke,Batman Earth One for $2.99 each)

Kind of sucks that they keep creeping up the price on the deals for kindle graphic novels.
Seems to be a trend.

The Marvel comics were at $3.99 for the recent Daredevil, Spidey, and Cap graphic novel sales (so a buck more than what I would expect). And even then, I thought they were milking it - some were over 200 pages, which is great, and others, like Spider-man:Lizard: No Turning Back clocked in at a much lower page count (112 page count for that book).

If they are less than 200 pages, combine a couple of story lines, ya bums.

That being said, I was tempted by Batman Vol 2 and 3 (Court of Owls part 2, and Death of the Family), but $5.99 is too much for these, for me anyways. (By about 2 bucks)

It's cheaper than buying these books in paperback form though, which is why I picked up a couple. I didn't get the new 52 Batman volumes because the page count was too low, but Batman: Knightfall is over 600 pages, well worth it IMO
