I'd recommend The Girl With All the Gifts by MR Carey as well.

I doubt that it did him much good while he was alive, but this guy had a golden typewriter. Literally everything that he's written has been turned into a movie or TV series.

I am going to check this out now. I have read The Man in the High Castle. Really good and thought provoking book if you enjoy alternative timelines. It also really opened my eyes to how "vintage" or "antiques" are viewed by culture.

I wonder how faithful Dick readers like the "adaptations". BR is prettty loose and the Minority Report story runs pretty much opposite of the film. they're good films don't get me wrong.
