A combined value of $93
During this special offer, your admission fee is $1, and that’s a savings of $19. And, as a very special bonus, you'll receive a stainless steel, hot and cold beverage container as a free gift—a $25 value.

As a AAA member, you can take advantage of the following services and discounts:

24/7 Roadside Assistance
Select DMV Vehicle Registration Renewals
Shopping, Dining, and Entertainment Discounts
Approved Auto Repair Facilities
Free Identity Theft Monitoring
Full-Service Leisure Travel Agency
Auto, Home, and Life Insurance Services

This offer entitles you to a Classic Membership for $49 ($1 admission fee, reduced from $20). All applications and renewals are subject to approval and acceptance by AAA. Membership dues, fees, benefits and services subject to change. Offer valid on new membership only; not valid on renewals. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for steel beverage container delivery.

Every membership year, you are allowed up to four free calls for Roadside Assistance. After that, a service charge applies. Free towing up to seven miles from the point of breakdown or unlimited miles back to the service facility providing the tow. Service is generally provided by independent service providers and is limited to the US and Canada. Certain conditions and limitations apply. See the Member Guide for more information.

Identity Theft monitoring benefit, ProtectMyID® Essential, is provided by ConsumerInfo.com, Inc., an Experian company. To be eligible to enroll in and receive this free benefit you must be 18 years of age or older and a current member. For more information, including conditions and restrictions, visit AAA.com/identitytheft.

OP's listing specifically states that this offer is for new memberships only. Offer is not valid for renewals.

The Web page says this offer is for joining the Automobile Club of Southern California, which is the regional club affiliated with AAA. They probably only accept membership applications from people who live in their service area, but you can contact them to verify.

How do AAA handle 4 cars in a family? How much for each additional vehicle?

The membership covers 4 service calls for a member. All 4 calls can be used on one vehicle, or spread them out on multiple calls. After the 4 service calls are used, they will charge you a set rate based on the service you requested (or if you are towing past 7 miles in one your 4 service calls included in the classic membership). You can upgrade to higher tiers of service after 6 months which include more service calls and additional towing range.

The roadside assistance is for the person not the vehicle. I believe you can add additional family members for about $50

This is not a good deal unless you need this right away.

I've been an aaa member for the past two years, courtesy of slickdeals. The first year cost $10; the second year was free. Check out, for example, http://slickdeals.net/f/7177066-aaa-membership-classic-0-plus-18-91-premier-46-83-northern-california-nevada-utah-only?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1.

If you must have a membership right away, this deal will save you money. But if you have flexibility about when you need it, you will find much better deals down the line.

There was never any deal for Southern California though.

Thanks. Does this mean that if one of my family member needs a tow, I need to be with them in order to get a free service call? It seems expensive to have to add $50 for each member.

if it's a male family member and the membership name is in a males name then any male can use the membership and same female to female .

just request as many additional cards as you can request and pass them out male 2 male female 2 female and if they bitch say you lost it .

the actual holder of the account does not need to have a card with them , just pass them all out to the abusers of this system , son / daughter .

then when your son / daughter whoever requests AAA and AAA shows up just show them the AAA card and that's all they care about . if they ask for ID say you lost it and it's in the mail or whatever .

trust . the AAA driver is not going to leave the scene without your car or servicing your car cause he's gonna lose $$$ if he leaves without . the ID is the least of their worries , but making $$$ is priority one ! all they need is the AAA card .

plenty of times done this no hassle . however YMMV and if shit hits the fan pass the driver a $20 and watch the ID dilemma magically disappear however this has never happened .

and to the actual membership holder when services are needed , all they gotta do is just show ID and say - i lost my AAA card , it's in the mail blah blah blah blah blah .
