SiriusXM Deals for Internet-Only Customers?

clemon79 6 10 September 18, 2016 at 10:37 PM
I am thinking of getting satellite radio, now that I have switched my phone to MetroPCS and SiriusXM (among others) doesn't count against my data allotment. (I don't and can't have satellite radio in my car any other way. 2014 Honda Civic. Look it up. It's not pretty.)

I have heard tell of people being able to finagle 6-months-for-$30 deals, but it sounds like those are people who have let physical radio service lapse. I'm fine doing that, but I don't *really* need the radio since my house is completely wired and I'll be using my phone in my car. (But obviously if you need one to get those deals it pays for itself really quick.)

My question is this: is it possible to finagle a similar deal if you ONLY have the Internet streaming service? $16 a month is an awful lot, but why pay $20 for actual service (for even a short period of time) if I don't need to?

Thanks for the help!
