Looks like it's equivalent to GTX 950.

Hmmm. Worth the upgrade from 750ti? Or should I just wait for the pricedrop on RX480 8GB below $200?

Like driving games, not much of FPS though.

No, the PS4 Pro GPU is more like the RX 470, which is almost twice as fast as this.

Nope.
Nope, I don't think 480 w/ 8Gb will go under 200 soon, maybe in one year.
If you get decent FPS for what you play I'd suggest wait for a good deal!

FPS meaning First Person Shooter, never was good at it and not much fan of it due to motion sickness.. Frown

I do get ok framerate at 1080P res on Need4Speed, but not at ultra settings though, just high enough setting.

Wait for that, or a GTX 1060 deal. This thing is not much of an upgrade over 750 TI if it is comparable to a 950. Would be like trading in an 08 Camry for an 09 Accord - costing money for no real upgrade.

Come to think of it, this isn't even a deal for such a low performing card. The GTX 960 is above this on Tom's GPU Hierarchy table, and plenty of them have been at this price point in the recent past.

This is a tempting deal for sure, I just don't think it would be much of an upgrade for my aging 6870. Think I wanna hold out for a deal on a 470, I would imagine we will start to get some good sales once supply starts to outpace the demand of the 470 / 480 cards. My 6870 is struggling though, runs fine at stock but can't even stay stable at the modest overclocks catalyst control center allows. Used to be able to go well beyond that with MSI afterburner.

Agreed, that would be a pretty good system for less than $400.
