Going to be bonkers to see the new 'PlayStation Home' in VR! I can see Sony helping to make sure that part gets added.

Last year, they were doing some developing with the Rift.

It's for PS4 and PC gamers, combined

PS4 is region free, so I can't see why not. Just get a plug converter/adapter.

Also, the US and Canada PSVR comes with a demo disc with 18 games.

Everyone else gets 8, but demos are going to be available for download.

Retail if you have the fastest fingers if/when more preorders go up.

Or, if/when stores have some on release day and you can get there 12 hours early.

GameStop has called this their quickest sell-out in history. And, GameStop gets tons of everything! I believe the US had 2 waves of preorders, at many retailers. All sold out.

This thread is for those who are serious about getting one and don't have time for run-arounds.

^^I suggest trying out those store demos. I did and was really disappointed in what Sony was showing off. The demos were pretty bad and the limited field of view was a lot more noticeable on the PS VR than the more expensive competitors. That's not saying it's a bad product and won't have good games, you just need your expectations in check if you've used the OR or Vive, because it's not the same experience. I know that should be expected by the price difference, but the experience might not be as good as you are expecting even taking cost into account.

I should have flipped when I had the chance. Now the Ebay prices are coming down close to retail. I might just play with it for a couple of weeks and return it to Amazon.

If this doesn't work on U.S. consoles I'll uppercut a midget and that's won't be in VR.

I've tried the HTC Vive numerous times, so I'll, definitely, be comparing the PSVR to that whenever I get around to going to the demo. But, when I first heard the Vive was going to have fresnels, I was like ACK! And, sure enough, it has those light rays. Fresnels should be banished from VR hmds. I heard the Rift not only has a smaller fov than the Vive and a darker screen, but worse rays! That demo's an hour away though. Maybe, eventually...

Amazon started carrying the Vive last week: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00VF5NT4I There was a dented box for $720. Good thing about Amazon is, not only easier returns, but you could build up credit to pay it off. Possibly spending $300-$400 oop. CAG has an Amazon trade-in thread.

Gotta say the Vive is bonkers, though!

You have to go through check out until you see the price lower. Edited OP.
