Just a few cents off normal.

But this is a little shocking.

Is this a great deal? Well, it depends on how much you value "organic", the packaging, and your preference between shipped to you versus buying at Walmart. To help you decide, I will compare this deal with what I think is a comparable product at Walmart.

This deal is a small plastic bag of 80 grams (3.17 oz) of organic applesauce for 51 cents each. It looks like the bag has a lid that can be replaced if your kid doesn't eat it all at once. The bag might be reusable, but I can't think of a good use at the moment. Maybe the packaging is "fun" for the kids, encouraging them to eat fruit instead of candy.

My comparison is the Walmart "no sugar" applesauce, sold as 6 cups of 4 oz each:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Great-...auce-24-Oz
The price is $1.84 for six, or 31 cents each. If you pay sales tax on food, adjust that price accordingly. These have 25% more applesauce than the pouches above. Are they fun? Probably not. And they are NOT labeled organic. And once the foil top is removed, it should be eaten right away or put in the fridge. The pouch might have an edge if 4 oz. is too large a serving. But 4 oz. is not very much at all.

What else? The cups probably need a spoon, but the pouch maybe not. If you want to add vitamin C to the applesauce, the cup is probably a lot easier than the pouch.

It's up to you. I hope you find this information helpful.

so tired of everything at costco becoming "organic," "gluten free" and "non-gmo"

capitalizing on scare tactics to of the naive shoppers to justify increased cost...

sorry, but Sams club is going to win the war in the end if this is the route costco continues to go, despite sams club crappy customer service and other issues.
