Thread Details

I had an Amazon offer on my Amazon homepage.
Free 30 day trial, (1 month plus 2 credits!)

I've done the free trial before, so I don't think that matters. YMMV

Remember to cancel or you will be charged $14.95 after 30 days.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.
Don't have Amazon Prime? Students can get a free 6-Month Amazon Prime trial with free 2-day shipping, unlimited music, unlimited video streaming & more. If you're not a student, there's also a free 1-Month Amazon Prime trial available.

I don't know why this is being downvoted, as this deal worked for me, and I only cancelled yesterday.

Not a single 'trial' offer has worked for me since my first trial years ago (but have used many of the other promos), so it's definitely worth checking this out.

Thank you!! I don't know why it is either. It is clearly stated as YMMV.

You only cancelled yesterday? Ha bullshit. Amazon keeps track of this stuff for six months before promo codes can be used again.

Not that it matters to me what you think, but I cancelled yesterday, and in fact, signed up for this trial late last night. I only use promo codes (last 3 months was the $1.95 promo, Groupon's free offer before that, 99 cent before that, etc) to fund my Audible addiction, so obviously you're very misinformed.

The big deal (to me) here is that this is the first time I've been able to use a direct Amazon 30-day trial offer for the first time in years (I try every time it gets posted), and it's 2 credits!

Thanks OP!

You clearly care or you wouldn't have responded. Wink Regardless, it's because you never signed up via Amazon which is on a different "promotional system" than the previous methods you mentioned.

Worked for me. Cancelled my Audible silver membership then signed out of audible. Then I googled "Amazon audible trial" and clicked the first link, was brought to an amazon page where I successfully signed up for 30 day 2-credit trial through amazon. Then went to audible.com, signed in and my account had 2 credits in it.
