Family Dinner Plans (Mad and Free)

New Activations

Wednesday 9/21/2016 5PM PT – Thursday 9/22/2016 10AM PT

Upgrades

Friday 9/23/2016 4PM PT – Until sold out

You can check if your phone is eligible in the RingPlus.net Check Tool at https://my.RingPlus.net/device_va...quests/new.

The RingPlus Family Dinner Plans are created in two versions: Mad Family Dinner Plan, which is routed directly over the Sprint Nationwide Network for the clearest call quality and best reliability as well as the lowest price in the industry. The second plan is called Free Family Dinner Plan and is routed over RingPlus in combination with the Sprint Nationwide Network. In addition to being a Free Monthly Cell Service Plan, the Free Family Dinner Plan includes RingBack Tone radio stations (free), voicemail-to-email transcripts (free), call transcription (free), parental control functions (free), the ability to blacklist and whitelist phone numbers (free), as well as a live in-call translator to translate between many languages (at an additional charge).

What do both Family Dinner Plans have in common? They are all about safety:

Free Tethering included

Safety from unexpected overages - there is no auto top up

Safety from contracts - this is a monthly service

Safety that data, talk, text, and MMS add-ons purchased don’t expire for an entire year

Safety that in the unlikely case that you don’t like your plan, you can always switch to our most popular plan ever offered, the Safety BLT Plan, any time during the first billing cycle. Please see below under the Safety BLT upgrade section.

The Family Dinner Plans are perfect for Members with low usage, children, or any other dependents as well as members seeking a cheap, alternative, and safe cell phone plan to stay in touch.

FREE Family Dinner Plan

$0/Month 100 Talk, 100 Text, 100 MMS, 100 MB Full Speed LTE

Up to 4 Family Dinner Free lines allowed per account
Line 1 – Free monthly, with a one-time $9.99 initial minimum top-up required (plus tax)
Lines 2-4 – Free monthly, with no top-up required
The Free Family Dinner Plan includes RingBack Tone radio stations (free), voicemail-to-email transcripts (free), call transcription (free), parental control functions (free), the ability to blacklist and whitelist phone numbers (free), as well as a live in-call translator to translate between many languages (at an additional charge).

Mad Family Dinner Plan

Line 1: $4.99/Month 100 Talk, 100 Text, 100 MMS, 100 MB Full Speed LTE

Line 2: $2.99/ Month 100 Talk, 100 Text, 100 MMS, 100 MB Full Speed LTE

Line 3: $0/ Month 100 Talk, 100 Text, 100 MMS 100 MB Full Speed LTE

Line 4: $0/ Month 100 Talk, 100 Text, 100 MMS 100 MB Full Speed LTE

*A maximum of four lines can be added.

*The monthly Mad Family Dinner Plan cost and add-ons bill directly to credit card. To use the top up balance, please choose the Free Family Dinner Plan.

Mad Family Dinner Plans are routed directly over the Sprint Nationwide Network for the clearest call quality and best reliability as well as the lowest price in the industry. Sadly, this plan has no advanced in-call apps available.

365-Day Lasting Add-Ons (Available for Both Plans)

Add-ons for both plans will be valid for one year from date of purchase. You can buy as many as you like. This will give you the ability to customize each line to the maximum whether you are on the Free Family Dinner Plan or Mad Family Dinner Plan. For your safety, these add-ons are per line and cannot be shared over multiple lines. Therefore, you won’t have to worry that the data, text, SMS, or MMS add-on that you allocated to one line is consumed by someone else’s line.

For added safety, each line may have its own default credit card.

1,000 MB / 12 months for $30

5,000 MB / 12 months for $60

10,000 MB / 12 months for $100

10,000 Text / 12 months for $24

5000 MMS /12 months $15

Unlimited Talk / 12 months for $40

Unlimited Text / 12 month for $40

Unlimited MMS / 12 month for $40

Additional Features (Top Up Instead of Add-Ons)

You can always manually top up (add money) on each line. Top ups can be used for many things:

- Bringing your own phone number to RingPlus (porting in)

- Accessing pay-as-you-go overages at 5¢ per unit (but for your safety, only if you choose overages as an add-on – there will still be no auto top ups)

- International calling, which will only be available if your top up is greater than $5. We recommend the use of the Phone Booth app (free) to monitor how much money you spend per international call. International dialing is not available for any Mad Plan, including the Mad Family Dinner Plan.

- You may also activate roaming by maintaining a top up balance of at least $50.

Limited Quantities for Upgrades

Please remember that the number of upgrades available for both Family Dinner Plans are limited and based on the number of new activations. So help us promote the Family Dinner Plans and increase your chances of the possibility of an upgrade.

Upgrade Fees

There are no upgrades fees. Upgrades must have the minimum required top-up. If your top-up balance is lower than the minimum, you will be required to top-up again or you will be automatically topped up when you change your plan.

-----

Safety BLT Upgrade Option

If you change your mind about your Family Dinner Plan, you may upgrade any Family Dinner line to the Safety BLT Plan within the first billing cycle. Changing to the Safety BLT Plan will require you to pay the difference in top-up amounts. The difference in top up will be billed automatically. Please note that in order to make this change possible, a minimum top up balance of $38 must be maintained during the first billing cycle to avoid an additional auto top up. We apologize, but this is based on system limitations. After the first billing cycle, the top up balance may be used until the $0 threshold. After that, another $38 auto Top Up will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.

If one of your Family Dinner Plan lines is changed to the Safety BLT plan, all connected lines must be changed to the BLT plan under Upgrade Plan in your dashboard to avoid suspension.

Here is how the Safety BLT Free Plan will work:

1) The Safety BLT Free Plan will start out with the following:

Free/month: 4,750 talk, text, MMS, and MB (full-speed 4G LTE data).

2) Over the next five billing cycles, RingPlus will add an additional 250 talk, text, MMS, and MB (full-speed 4G LTE data) to the Safety BLT Plan.

3) After that, you will have Free/month: 6,000 talk, text, MMS, and MB (full-speed 4G LTE data) going forward.

The Safety BLT Plan requires a minimum top up of $38 plus tax per line to be maintained during the first billing cycle.

Tethering Safety BLT $9.99/month from Top Up

To switch to the Safety BLT plan, log into your RingPlus.net online account and easily choose the upgrade option from your dashboard.

Additional Notices and Terms:

Activation Notice

Due to the high demand of RingPlus Free Cell Plans and ultra low cost cell service, we have to implement some limitations with our wireless partners to handle the capacity.

Any time during the promo, you may see a message during the sign up process; “We are sorry, but the maximum capacity has been reached please try again within an hour.” This means RingPlus had to temporarily close for new subscriptions, and will re-open soon due to the volume we absorbed within that hour.

Limited Availability

*All offers available while supplies last.

Store Purchases

Please note that, except as noted otherwise in this post, buying items in the RingPlus Store will NOT make the purchaser eligible for the offerings in this promotion.

Legal

All other RingPlus legal terms also apply, and can be found at https://RingPlus.net/legal/members. Please read them. If there is any difference or conflict between the terms of this offer and any other RingPlus legal terms, the terms of this offer will control (i.e., the terms of this offer will override the other legal terms).

Please read those rules #20 and #22 before signup any plan:

20. This rule does not apply to plans featuring set allotments of data (e.g. 3GB), or any plan or Add On (i.e., an allotment of minutes, SMS, MMS or data offered separately from a plan) first offered on or before 9/13/16. This rule applies to plans featuring unlimited minutes, unlimited SMS, unlimited MMS and unlimited data, and Add Ons offered after 9/13/16 in order to prevent Abuse and to protect the RingPlus community as a whole. “Abuse” includes failure to abide by RingPlus Legal Notices, the terms of your plan, fraud, attempted fraud, defrauding RingPlus, attempting to defraud RingPlus, or engaging in (or attempting to engage in) conduct which financially, technologically or legally harms RingPlus. If your use of minutes, SMS, MMS or data in any current billing cycle exceeds your use of minutes, SMS, MMS or data (i.e., a comparison of like units such as SMS, etc.) for any prior billing cycle in the immediately prior 6 months by more than 50%, RingPlus may examine your usage of your plan as such deviations in usage patterns may indicate that there may be an issue that needs to be investigated by RingPlus. If RingPlus does not find Abuse, RingPlus will take no action. If RingPlus finds Abuse, it may in its discretion and with notice suspend, downgrade, or terminate your Service. You may appeal such decisions to the Ethical Committee in the RingPlus Social forum at https://social.ringplus.net, and RingPlus will respect the ruling of the Ethical Committee. In cases involving termination of accounts, you will be given seven (7) days to initiate a port-out to preserve your phone number (we understand it may take more time to actually complete). RingPlus had added this rule in order to be open with you to make you aware that we will monitor the system for Abuse of such plans in order to protect the community.

22. This rule does not apply to plans featuring set allotments of data (e.g. 3GB), or any plan or Add On (i.e., an allotment of minutes, SMS, MMS or data offered separately from a plan) first offered on or before 9/13/16. This rule applies to plans featuring unlimited minutes, unlimited SMS, unlimited MMS and unlimited data, and Add Ons offered after 9/13/16 in order to prevent Abuse (defined in General Rule 20, above) and to protect the RingPlus community as a whole. If your use of minutes, SMS, MMS or data in any current billing cycle exceeds the average use of minutes, SMS, MMS or data (i.e., a comparison of like units such as SMS, etc.) by all RingPlus Members on the same plan by more than 50%, RingPlus may examine your usage of your plan as such deviations in usage patterns may indicate that there may be an issue that needs to be investigated by RingPlus. If RingPlus does not find Abuse, RingPlus will take no action. If RingPlus finds Abuse, it may in its discretion and with notice suspend, downgrade, or terminate your Service. As usual I have no idea WTF RP is chattering on about.

So we need to switch to this family dinner thing before we upgrade to BLT? Being able to do so out of top-off funds is nice, but the actual progression makes no sense.

Confuzing...

In for 1 TD.

Just yesterday I was trying to dial a R+ number and the operator recording said the call cannot be completed. I tried with 3 different phones on 3 carriers. Then I tried to dial out with the R+ line and got the same recording. Imagine if you had an emergency or had to dial 911 and heard this. Just a warning for people that think because its free its okay. EEK!EEK!

The only thing that is more confusing than RingPlus rules are IRS Tax codes.

Once again, an absolutely horrible, awful, confusing description of some strange hybrid plan, this time with charts. LOL...'Mad' and "Not Mad" columns! The small niche market that understands Ring+ is already over saturated and burnt out with these constant changing upgrades and flash plans. Folks who attended their "Clubhouse" events thinking they were getting the 'best' deal R+ had to offer, are now complaining that they basically wasted their time and gas trying to get the first "Sandwich" deals. If they are trying to attract new users, this is not the way. Can you imagine being a total newbie trying to decipher any of this info & getting compatible phones in time. Why R+...why?

I was having this issue as well yesterday, I see I was not alone....I think also 911 is routed differently, can be used on any activated or inactivated phone. I think it would have still worked.

Who knows. I know a lot of people here are giving R+ lines to their kids. I'd be very concerned about the possibility that 911 might not work. This isn't the first time I've noticed issues with calling over the past 8 months. I'm just glad I only use the line as a network test phone.
