Sprint.com has S7 or S7 edge BOGO free. Free phone by credits to bill that offset Installment plan fee for phone. This means in order to get the phone free you will need to keep the lines active at least 24 months and possibly a few months more since Sprint says credits will start in 1-2 billing cycles.

Red tape, yes. Still, if interested in Sprint service, that's $325 or $375 per phone for a phone that's seems to be going for about $500+ on eBay at this time.

This deal works with their unlimited plan and does not count as a discounted phone. (They charge $25 more for the plan if you got a discounted phone from them, aka 2yr contract price)

Also, when checking out I got a pop up for another $50 bill credit. I do not know exactly what triggered that but I did take a long time on their website trying to figure out if I was going to commit or not. The extra $50 sealed the deal for me and I'm sure that's exactly what it was offered to do.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

No, you will end up with 2 lines. I tried calling to see if i can get the free phone on another existing line that's due for an upgrade anyways but they couldn't. So I ended up activating a new line because my other existing line contract ends in Oct so I will just cancel that line and it all works out.

I'm curious why people would do this. If you're tied to a 24 month contract anyway, why pay more this way when they're only $200/phone?

They don't try to make this clear, but here is how the math works when you get the 2 year contract.

S7
249.99 discounted price
-50.00 mail in rebate
-------------------------------------
199.99 phone (the advertised price)

or

S7 edge
349.99 discounted price
-50.00 mail in rebate
-------------------------------------
299.99 phone (the advertised price)

BUT!

since you now have what Sprint calls a "discounted" phone your monthly access charge is $45 instead of the usual $20. $25 more than the access charge with Installment plan phones.

And since you have a 2 yr contract you will pay at least an extra $25 * 24 months on monthly bills.

That an extra $600 over the two years.

So in reality the math is like this.

S7
249.99 discounted price
-50.00 mail in rebate
-------------------------------------
199.99 phone (the advertised price)
+600.00 extra paid in access charges
-------------------------------------
799.99 S7 phone
or

S7 edge
349.99 discounted price
-50.00 mail in rebate
-------------------------------------
299.99 phone (the advertised price)
+600.00 extra paid in access charges
-------------------------------------
899.99 S7 edge phone

So you will pay a LOT more with the 2 year contract vs this BOGO deal.

You're not factoring taxes, that you'd have to pay for both phones. Plus the phone being locked to sprint.

Honestly not a good deal due to the s7 value. The iphone 6 trade in was much better.

You are not correct. just upgraded to the galaxy s7 on 2 lines a week ago. i still pay the $20 access charge, not 45.

That may be true for you, maybe you are grandfathered in to a lower access charge or maybe you will scream when you get your new bill. Big Grin I really don't know, I am only copying what is on the Sprint site. https://www.sprint.com/shop/plan-...ShopPlans#

sprint confirmed im still at $20. fwiw, i activated via sprint chat using the phone # and imei #. wonder if doing it this way doesnt allow them to see that the phones were bought under a 2 year contact.

Will there be an iPhone 7 BOGO? Not until end of life?

May be I am just a dinosaur. I have always got the impression that Sprint has pretty bad signal or call quality comparing to AT&T or Verizon. Is it still the case? I am wondering whether it's a bad idea to switch from AT&T to Sprint.
