Plz elaborate...

Wanted to run a bunch of fans on my car amplifiers and maybe power a few phones for the pGo players in the back seat of the car.

They are running the latest (and last of) $20 RingPlus androids prepaids. Still a no recommendation?

The QC2.0 may not be an issue for your application. For my Nexus 6, it's a must.

What's more pertinent is that 31% of reviewers received the product for free or at a discount.

THIS! I bought an Aukey one awhile ago that claimed 36w/5port and it sucked. Charged slow regardless of the "fast charging" reviews. I would stick with a reputable brand that has more reviews and less "free for unbiased" review.

Folks, irrespective of which brand charger or cables you buy and how expensive those are, pls make an habit of checking their performance by using an app like Ampere [makeuseof.com].
Of course for more reliable tests, you can use the USB meter [ebay.com] as well.

I read through a fair number of the reviews & the consensus seems to be:
1. Slow charging despite specs claiming otherwise.
2. Unshielded, which means it will significantly interfere with your radio reception.
3. (SUBJECTIVE) Seems to me that the failure rate is slightly higher than the norm, but that may just be me.

TL; DR: Only bite if you're okay with slow charging and don't listen to AM/FM while driving.

Can you recommend something similar? Thanks

using the code up top is getting a discount as well, your reviews will be just as biased.
