Thanks, I price matched with Best Buy successfully over the phone, so that I can return it if needed.

For reference, here is the best buy listing for the Cherry MX Brown:

I got my K70 LUX a few weeks ago with the Brown switches. I frickin love it. My desk keyboard at work is now a miserable experience.

I think $99.99 is sort of the new standard price for this keyboard. Seems to drop to this price pretty often.

Worth mentioning I've RMA'ed two of these so far. The variability in actuation force in these Cherry MX switches is surprisingly high so check your board when you get it and make sure the keys are all feeling the same. Amazon has been great about returns and looks like my third board is pretty good. All the keys feel roughly the same, none too soft or too hard compared to the others.

time to buy one for work. I bought a work keyboard myself. Spend too much time using it there to deal with the junk.

I was so close to buying a Corsair Strafe when Amazon had their PAXWEST promo code deal a few weeks ago.

It looks like the blue and red switched models are $99 at newegg as well with red LEDs.

I'm completely ignorant in this subject. Why in the world is a keyboard worth $100?

Try one at frys or whereever they have it. Feels totally different from a membrane keyboard.

Does anyone know of a keyboard where I can program macros and it stores them on board so I can bring it to another computer and use macros without needing the software? I need actual keystroke macros, not lighting profiles.
