Interesting.

How did you get this? Was it an AmEx Offer? An email invitation?

How frequently do you use this card?

Got an email from Amex this morning. YMMV. But the program T&C seems to be generic and applies to all.
"Your Blue Cash Everyday® Card is enrolled to automatically earn cash back at the rates below until 12/31/2016:
Use your Card like you normally would and receive even more cash back during this time."

Is there a POID or a Bonus ID listed in the email? And are you a relatively new BCE owner

It says on my account as well the following but not sure how to add:
‡ Benefit Terms
Multiply Membership Rewards® Points

For each dollar charged on an eligible purchase in each billing period on your Amex EveryDay® Credit Card from American Express, you earn one Membership Rewards® point. You earn: 1 additional point (for a total of 2 points) on the first $6,000 of eligible purchases in a calendar year at supermarkets located in the U.S. (superstores and warehouse clubs are not considered supermarkets). Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, balance transfers, cash advances, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, or purchases of other cash equivalents. Additional terms and restrictions apply. Merchants are assigned codes based on what they primarily sell. A purchase will not earn additional points if the merchant's code is not eligible. Purchases made through a third-party payment account or on an online marketplace (with multiple retailers) will not earn additional points. A purchase may not earn additional points if the merchant submits the purchase using a mobile or wireless card reader or if you use a mobile or digital wallet.

I've been with AMEX for 5+ years and got this offer as well. I've linked a crop pic of the email I received...

Also, to answer a previous question, I only use this card for supermarket purchases or if an offer seems appealing. In the five years I've had the card, I've only redeemed 3 offers and I probably average supermarket charges 5-10x a month.

I have a similar one for BCE as well (in fact both cards have them). Following is what I see but not sure how to add the benefit:

2x points at US supermarkets, on up to $6,000 per year in purchases (then 1x); 1x points on other purchases. Terms and limitations apply.?

3% Cash Back at U.S. supermarkets, up to $6,000 per year in purchases (then 1%);
2% Cash Back at U.S. gas stations;
2% Cash Back at select U.S. department stores; and
1% Cash Back on other purchases.

Cash back is received in the form of Reward Dollars that can be redeemed as a statement credit.?
That sounds more like an offer to get the BCE card than a benefit. Those are the regular CB percentages.

Cash back can be redeemed as statement credits (in increments of $25,) GCs (AmEx and third party,) and way overpriced merchandise.
