This is the cheapest French door fridge you'll find, and if you want ice in the door, you're looking at the same model for about $1400+.

It's also made by Frigidaire, and I wouldn't sell it to anyone I know. I don't even sell it to customers, unless they act like a jerk and I don't care what they buy, as long as they buy and get out. Some people you don't want wasting your time.

At one point there was a stop-sale on it. Cooling system or something. It would look nice in an apartment, if you don't know what you're getting, which is why contractors buy Frigidaire.

I used to work at Sears, until recently. I have my personal opinions, but I've worked with appliances for almost 10 years, on delivery, install, sales, and some very light repairs.

Go with Whirlpool made. Some Kenmore are made by Whirlpool. So is Amana, Maytag, KitchenAid, and Jenn Air.

Very helpful comment dude Im actually in the market for a counter depth refrigerator, as far as whirlpool goes are you familiar with this particular fridge and how good it is? http://www.sears.com/whirlpool-21...609473000P

Thanks for saving me from the hassle of buying a frigidaire.

People know that those are some of the biggest problems with French door refrigerators. An ice maker in the fridge will tend to melt and have issues with freezing over, which causes the auger to have problems rotating. If you don't like it, spend more on the better model, and don't complain that the cheaper model is made cheaply. Again, they make this model with an ice maker for about $400 more at a good sale price. I still wouldn't buy that one.

When you can buy a very nice Samsung for under 900 with ice and water dispenser, so called deals like these become spam. Certainly not slick by any means.

I wouldn't touch a Samsung. Samsung, GE, Frigidaire, just stay away.

Bought this then canceled my order after reading reviews. Fridge not able to cool below 40℉ seems to be the common issue with this. Too bad price, fit, and looks were all on point.

I'm in the market for a fridge and was wondering if someone can give me some pointers on how to find out what company really makes it? I've had really bad experiences with Frigidaire and if i knew this one was made by them I would have stayed far away from this.

Well. I got a Frigidaire last year. 27.19 cu ft, 3-door. French door in Stainless Steel. With the Ice maker/dispenser. Model FFHB2740PS. I have no problem with it. My wife and I love it. Got it from this SD site. for $519.17 (including the 6% PA sales tax) from Home Depot. Free delivery and set up.
Yup, the same thing right now selling for $1949.00.

Keep checking. Slick Deals do happen. Smilie

I have to open to have access for water/ice. It's worth extra $$$ for exterior access.

ppl don't need it or don't have access to water pipe for their fridge. My current fridge is my first ice/water and it's freaking sweet man. I just replace water filter every 6months and it's all good. never buying a fridge without water/ice again. I thought hooking it up to new water pipe would be hard but it was easy.

Samsung just ROCKS, whoever says otherwise is on heavy drugs. And yeah I spotted a Samsung tonight down here at Brandsmart (S-Florida) for $900. They're out there, especially due to end of season blow outs. This Fridge without water/ice despenser ain't a slick deal by any shot.

We had a floor model GE slate fridge, $2799.00, the control panel went out just running in demo mode. The lights would flash, it would beep. Even had a GE repairman call it "Gets Expensive." My old boss who owns an appliance repair company said he wouldn't put GE in his home.

The Samsung fridge we had on the floor would make a clicking knocking noise from the ice maker when it would run in demo mode. I've had other customers say the same thing. Repair men don't like to work on them.

Frigidaire washers, fridges and dishwashers are garbage. I had a contractor dump two groups of four top mount fridges out of warranty. They went out before the condos sold.
