Did you consider backing out of Adorama deal and buying from Newegg? Got a feeling that there's maybe a return shipping fee for Adorama, so I decided to just let it ride. Still psyched about getting them.

Found an excellent review aggregate that explains what people like (this is for the 900, but quite concise and informative (900i basically the 900 with an improved headband)):

Never heard of this brand before, but reviews on Amazon sure are strong.

The biggest complaint about the 900 seemed to be the comfort level, and the 900i improved on the comfort a lot, so they seem to be a solid buy. They're pretty heavy on the bass from what I understand; I'll have to see how much I like that. I'm coming from Sennheiser 595s.

I've had a pair of theirs for a couple of years now - highly recommended!

I have the HD 598, I love the mid's and highs, lack of bass. I got the HD 7, love the bass, lacks mid. Hopefully since these are higher tier the mids won't sound like static.

Buyer beware! UltraSone is known for being incredibly bright. I bought the Pro900 and the sibilance was so bright I returned it soon after I bought it. I have heard many headphones from all the main brands and the Fidelio X2, HD598, and MDR-V6 are my go-to headphones. My next set will be the HD650. Don't buy UltraSone.

Thanks, I have x2, I think I am very satisfied with it. I have used both DT 990 with the 32 ohm and HD 598. I prefer the sound of X2 than those other two. DT 990 is very comfortable but X2 sounds better.
