$158.08. the deal is back in stock! going on until 9/30

considering batteries are $40 a pop and this has two plus a charger it's really slick.

This blower is not good. I got the jet version which blows 100 mph and I love that blower.

This battery are the smaller size and doesnt have the meter. I usually let my battery recharge at one bar. Do not let it go all the way to empty!

This is the one I got below. When it was on sale, it was $160. Do a alert here for "Ryobi" so when it goes on sale you know ...

I've been eying this deal for a month now--this is the third time I have seen it go on sale for this price, but the first time I was actually able to get one. So just keep checking--twice, I've had it in my cart, only for it to be "sold out" upon checkout.

As for the batteries--this deal comes with two, but will take any Ryobi one + battery, so I'm getting a two pack of the 4ah...when the go on sale Smilie.

Anyone compared these trimmers to the bigger cordless varieties(such as B&D's LST136, Ryobi's 40V)? I'm guessing they won't cut anywhere near as good, but the one time i bought and tried the Ryobi 40V version i wasn't impressed and returned it. That said a version that my cordless tool's batteries can power might be a nice backup plus the hedge trimmer. could also compare the blower to the one I have(also not very powerful) and if they compare well, maybe sell my old B&D 40v yard tools as the trimmer burned out and it seems B&D isn't investing much in their 40V lineup anymore.
