For those ALREADY planning in purchasing an unlocked Moto Z. Amazon is giving you a $200 Hasselblad discount went purchasing (Pre-Ordering) both together. Motorola web site will only give you $50 off.
Might not be slick deal if youre not looking into purchasing a phone, but most probably if you already had your eye on the Moto Z!

B&H as well...not really a deal...probably trying to get rid of it fast. Bad reviews. I guess the phone cam takes better pictures than this mod.

moto z is a nice phone. cant really comment on the camera... (have tbe droid version)

it does have a bluetooth issue that i hope they fix soon. calls over Bluetooth dont work. not sure if specific of the verizon version. might be a deal breaker for someone

edit:
fingerprint sensor is not a home button, but it's pretty fast (faster and more accurate than my s7 edge) , it takes you to your last view (i.e. chrome if you were there before it locked) and it also works to turn off the screen, like a double tap on the LGs...also very useful

The phone is $700. The camera is $250.
Total, $750.

This camera snap on did not have impressive reviews. People would be better off buying a separate camera and cheaper phone, or a phone with a better internal camera, depending on their needs.

they should do it the other way around, add a phone to a good camera, like the Sony rx100

I think it's not wise to spend money on this add-on as it probably won't be compatible with the next phone Motorola comes up with. Add-on on its own is worthless.

Good point for most of us.

Plus cost wise how is this going to compete with the Axom 7 or Honor 8 which you can pretty much buy 2, almost 3 at that amazon sale price a while back. They have similar specs. Beyond the name, but I've never heard of Motorola fanboys.

You don't have to make people understand that this isn't a "real" Hasselblad camera. No one is going down to their LCS for an H6-100D and accidentally coming home with this. Hasselblad has chosen, themselves, to put their name on this product. Regardless of what you think, or want, the fact is that they designed for this to come out and say "Hasselblad" on it. They did it for money, at the expense of their brand identity, which is fine. It's just as likely that people that didn't even know what Hasselblad was now know about them. None of their medium format users are going to be less likely to buy one because Hasselblad chose to license their name out to this product. Plus, it probably helps subsidize their "real" cameras.

Motorola has stated that they intend to support these mods on their phones for the next two phone cycles, so at least for the next 2.5 years. Obviously, take that with a grain of salt, but since Lenovo purchased them they seem intent on sticking to their word.
