I've been monitoring sites trying to find a deal on the the old fat PS4 and came across this on Dell.com. Seems like a reasonable deal with the inclusion of a game plus the $75 promo card which could be used for additional game and/or controller. Add the above to your cart to see the promo gift card.

This deal is even sweeter for Discover Card Members with cash back rewards to burn as you can get $100 Dell egift card for $90 in rewards. So in the end it would hopefully be about $270 (plus tax) for everything.

(Discover Card folks - Be warned Dell has an antiquated payment system though that will only accept three payment methods so with tax you'll only be able to apply 2 gift cards and then your credit card for payment... I'm going to try and work out with consumer service reps tomorrow as the sales folks tonight are unable to fix it in the system).
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

It's still showing as in stock for me... here's a link I accessed it from on my mobile phone (using iOS Safari) just now as well (the other one was from a laptop)

It looks like the links may be the same though... If you search "playstation 4" you should be able to see all the bundles they have available, including this one.

none of these games are that appealing to me, I guess I can sell the games. deciding if I should grab it or hold off a bit... think there will be a better value coming up soonish?

As others have mentioned in recent PS4 threads, I'm sure there will be better deals with Black Friday. Agreed that none of these games are overly appealing, I'm hoping to trade/sell (especially since 2k17 just came out, hoping there will be decent value). I've held off on the Uncharted bundles as I have a copy laying around since the Prime Day deal but have been waiting to get a PS4 for it.

This seems like the best deal that I've seen in a long while (except for the Best Buy Platinum Headset debacle), especially if you have Discover Rewards (which I did...).

The only thing bad about dells is that their free gift cards must be used pretty quick. Last time i only had 3 months to use it

yeah, people are bidding $55 for the game on eBay w/ 1hr left on auction on 2k17, seems like it wouldn't be too hard to sell for $50 on CL.

BBY plat headset was a mistake and cancelled, so you can't really count it.

hmm, I'll have to run it past the wife, she's the one who wants it, not me. thanks for the info

Can you explain? Do you mean legally? I know certain States have gift card laws...

I pushed quite hard on the point but per their report the system simply won't allow it. There is info on their website that also indicates this but gives some sort of outlet to be able to combine gift cards... problem is that this can take up to 3 days to process and by then the deal could very well be over.

It does seem ridiculous for a computer tech company to have such a crappy payment system, seemed like a bit of a shady business practice...
