Went to Stone Bistro tonight (first of a few trips this week methinks) and had Blind Pig (tasty tasty, I blew the keg), 6/6/6 Vertical Epic (don't remember it being that good, though Greg Koch wouldn't pull one from the warehouse for me last time I was @ Stone
 ), Green Flash Le Freak (still not sold on Belgian IPA's), Ruination (given, delicious), and 13th Anniversary (quite good) on tap.Looking forward to what they have next trip! Malt does more than Milton can to justify God's ways to man

Tried my Furthermores this weekend. Both were unique brews unlike anything I've ever had before.
The Knotstock was an ale with brewed black pepper. You could def taste the pepper but it wasn't a spicy taste. I'd say it got the flavor it was going for but I don't see why anyone would have more than one (the first to say you've tried it). The Oscura was a beer with coffee. Tasted freshly brewed. Most coffee tasting beer I've ever had. I gave it as a gift to my friend because he loves the taste of coffee and I don't but I made sure to have sip to see if it lived up to the hype. It certainly did IMO. |

Finally got to try Stone Sublimely Self Righteous last night. Definitely a very unique and tasty. Never had such a hoppy.

I am very sad that there is no distribution of Weyerbacher in TX. Can anyone recommend a pumpkin ale that is available in TX. Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin was always a favorite of mine
