Sneak Preview: First Post Updates

Why is it that sometimes the first posts show up in "invisible" text? I have to scroll over the post to read the text. Quite annoying.

I'm using IE as my browser, and system default settings... nothing fancy. Here's one of the threads where I can't read the OP without selecting the text: http://forums.slickdeals.net/show...did=922626

Did you press control-F5 and clear cache? It should be fixed 6 hours ago so you probably have the stale css files.

Is there any way to make the text inside the qoute box larger? For me the text within the quote boxes is smaller and more squished together looking than the text in the rest of the posts.

Don't know if you can see it well enough in the screenshot, but when I'm looking at a post with a quote in it, the quoted text appears to be about 1/4 or so smaller than the text in the rest of the post. And the letters seem to be closer together than the rest of the text, making it harder to read without either squinting or leaning in closer to the monitor. Can the quoted text please be the same size and font as the rest of the post? Please?

BTW, I'm running Windows XP and IE6 (yeah, I know ) and I've also cleared cookies and cache.

I too was wondering about something like this in the deal alerts, but figured it wouldn't be possible unless we were required to use some type of "form posting". And as you say, sometimes the deal is not about price.
It would be nice though. For example: I'm looking for a cheap, but decent digital camera. I have a deal alert set up for "digital camera". The problem is, I get alerted to $500 cameras for $200, while this is a good deal, it doesn't meet my criteria of cheap.

I am actually good with everything now that my TU works. I am curious about the "possible upcoming changes" you hinted at. Any chance of larger avis in the future? I want a bigger hula girl.
