There has been a lot of attention on these Inissia bundles lately. Bloomingdales currently has it for $100 less 20% off using coupon code FRIENDS.

Went frontpage for $100 recently, so this should get some attention from the nespresso lovers.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

A lot of misinformation here.

The originaline like this inissia system have a lot of aftermarket options. (the vertuoline does not, which may be where ^ confusion came from, the evoluo machine is a vertoline model, not a originaline model). This system uses 19 bars of pressure.

The system that does not have alternatives is there newer line of machines called the vertuoline (like keurig 2.0 K cup machines and the barcode system) that uses a half moon pod with a barcode that spins to create centrifugal force instead of using pressure. Those machines make coffee and espresso.

This inissia machine has alternative capsules and uses 19 bars of pressure and can only make espresso (or lungo, but that is essentially the same thing, just a longer pour/bigger cup, still not coffee)

I use the sealpod stainless steel reusuable capsules with no problems whatsoever. I think recaps also makes a sealpod like reusable capsule (only look for the ones with the disposable aluminum foil sticker lids, not the permanent lid). The sticker lids are around $0.10 each, so after the original purchase price your cost per pod is only 0.10 plus the cost of coffee beans.

There are also plenty of aftermarket originaline capusles out there that are not bad for those that don't want to fill their own pods.

Nespresso originaline capsules are $0.70 to $0.75 each from Nespresso. Those will taste slightly better than both the sealpod and the aftermarket options. I use the nespresso originaline capsules for guests and when I am in a rush, but I fill sealpods for myself on a typical day. The aftermarket originaline capsules can be as cheap as $0.35, but usually run around $0.50. I personally pay the $0.20 more for the better nespresso capsules. The capsules are sealed and have a shelf life of 1 year.

The sealpod is more expensive but includes the bottom rubber cover so you can prefill and seal the pods from both sides the day/night before if you don't have time in the mornings.

Boom, got one. I guess we'll be selling our Gaggia semi automatic espresso machine. Wife thinks that one takes too much effort.

Darn, oh well. I used my Citi Costco card, but that one extends the warranty to 3 years. I think the extra warranty is worth the $4 or so I would have saved otherwise. 5% cashback via Discover Deals.

I have had this for a couple of months now and I still like it but I wish that I could find coffees that were strong like that of Starbucks.

The capsules seem a bit expensive - is there a place where I can get them at discount?
