Solutions for Audio Transmission from TV? (using standard earbuds)

Sigmonster 2 10 October 7, 2016 at 10:49 PM
Recommendations on transmitting audio from my TV to a wirelessly do a device that I can plug normal 3.5mm headsets or earbuds into? Something that will allow me to plug any corded headset/earbuds into and listen to audio on the tv. I'm looking to use a solution that will allow me to connect earbuds to a device similar to how you can with the nvidia shield/roku - but play audio from any tv source.

I guess I could get two of these [], but I'm curious if there are better solutions out there.

These things would also be a plus.
Ability to turn off/on, to allow easy usage for novice users.
Ability to add multiple devices/headsets/receivers in the future.

I would be concerned about charging and the multiple devices your wanting to do with just using the bluetooth. How many are we talking?

Can you tell us more about what you are trying to do? Details might help someone come up with a better way.

Vague questions receive vague answers . . . . . .
As far as I can tell, that's going to be the best way to do it. Look for aptX enabled receivers/transmitters(they don't have to be the same device) to reduce audio latency(otherwise you might get issues of the audio and video not syncing up).

Amazon has this great FM radio transmitter [].

It works great for me. It gives me a maximum range of about 3 miles in my area.

Years ago the government discouraged the use of transmitters this powerful but not these days. Just choose a channel that isn't near a local stations frequency and you will be fine.

Of course this would also require a personal FM radio for you to connect your ear buds to.
