Basically, the faucet fits in one hole in the sink and the sprayer fits in another. I wouldn't use this for a traditional 3 or 4 hole kitchen sink (it doesn't have the plate that covers the other holes), but if you have a laundry tub or an unconventional sink or RV sink that has two holes and needs a faucet, this may work for you.
