Its shows $16.99 , but add it to cart and proceed to checkout. It shows a $6.99 credit at checkout to bring the price down to $9.99. No coupon code needed, it's automatic. And you get free shipping with prime or qualifying orders above $49.

Thorfire Battery & Charger []

In the past, some said these are not quality batteries. And they are not good for vaping mods because they're too long (no idea what that means since I don't vape). I've been waiting for some 18650 batteries for some of my flashlights and this just seems like a good deal to pull the trigger.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Please note xxxxFire branded batteries (except surefire) are generally very dangerous, often fake batteries, old recycled batteries etc.

I never trust a battery with the word "fire" in it name.
Why buy any ***fire over a Samsung or Panasonic, even LG and Sanyo, 18650?

It's listed here on Amazon for $9.99

They are also selling a light.

I bought 2 Thorfire 26650's because reviews said they actually matched their stated capacity of 5000mAh - and they do. So I'd trust that these probably also have the stated 3000 mAh capacity (as a reviewer states), which is good for 18650's. Reviews note that occasionally people got duds but were able to get them replaced.

I agree.. this seems like a great deal. So because it says "by Thorfire" we can assume this is legit stuff?
Always a bit worried about the F-U-D (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) surrounding mis-labeled, counterfeit, or just poorly-made batts & chargers that can of course lead to smoke and fires and stuff. As I said, it's mostly F-U-D, but there is crap out there being sold as 18650s.

[update:] Never mind the FUD, I ordered one. Discount came off in cart as the OP said. Thanks!

I just bought two ThorFire dive lights with these batteries and the single chargers. These will be nice backups to have handy. Thanks.

I literally JUST bought this for $16.99 two days ago after the flashlight went on sale a couple of weeks ago.

Items arrived today. Everything seems legit, batteries came in a green plastic carry case and appear to be well made. Charger looks fine, has indicator lights (Charging/Full)

The flash light is a thrower, I intended to use it for HD in a support hand but anything under 30ft. it's got major hot-spottage. It'll do the job, just not ideally. I took it out back where I have about 150ft to the woodline and that's where it really shined (no pun intended).

Beautiful, consistent beam that totally illuminated everything into the woods, I could easily tell if there was a person standing out there.

Anyway, just got off chat with Amazon and of course they hooked it up with the refund. Great deal that I highly recommend.

EDIT: This charging kit associated with the flashlight page shows this "sale" price of $9.99 before cart/checkout.
