I agree with you and I never go to deal talk at all. I don't like it so I prefer freebie better. Keep that way.!!

I personally HATE them. I don't see why someone needs to post for me to check my email. I do that anyways. I find it clutters the board. I do appreciate that people take the time to give a heads up, but sometimes MOST of them aren't needed.
So IDK what to do with them or where to put them. Some are useful like the HouseParty ones, or certain others. But some are pointless. And I know you can't move some and not the others, so no clue what to do. If you want examples of which ones I mean are pointless, I'd be glad to link to them.

Always can get a sticky Heads Up Thread and add them in the Freebie section... I rarely go to deal talk myself

i never read deal talk, but i do occasionally find the heads up posts useful. i think they should get their own section, like the magazines have, still under the freebies heading, so we dont forget that they exist...i think thats what the post above me is saying too--except they know the right words

I love the heads up posts. Maybe they should have a category all by themselves. I think a survey category would be nice, too.

i voted "other" because most of the heads-up posts are related to surveys. it would really be nice to have a survey sub-forum (or separate forum).

(is it just me, or does that horse look more like a kangaroo?)

barring that (and i'm not holding my breath), i'd vote for putting them in deal talk. it's annoying when they clutter up the freebies.

I would prefer a survey thread too or at the least a sub-category as mentioned like there is for Magazines. Somedays I have the time to double check on surveys and other days I'm just looking for regular old freebies.

i dislike the heads up threads. i've made a couple to get coupons from magazines or something and put them in freebies before.

i think heads up threads for surveys, coupons coming in the mail, etc. should have it's own sub-forum (like magazines) in the freebies section.

Another vote for staying in freebies. I'd never see them otherwise

I think some are nessecary (Mag ones) and also some surveys. Zoompanel, for example, someone posted a heads up thread for a survey that led to a PT, that unless I read the thread I wouldn't had taken the survey (was away) but since I read the thread, I took the survey and got in on a very nice two part PT. Thats why I feel they are nessecary

Give them their own sub-thread (and surveys, too!) The freebies forum is so cluttered & disorganized, it's hard to find stuff...but I never think to visit Deal Talk unless a Hot Deal ends up there while I read it. Just my $0.02.
