True, you said he "might lose SERO", but you also said they will upgrade the line to the 79.99 plan, which is not true. With the iPhone the plan will go to a SEROP plan, if it already isn't, and be charged the extra $10 fee making it $50.

so when i said that they might take away the sero p plan than maybe I should have also said they will give you some bogus plan that includes the premium charges.

Hopefully they can dupe my unlimited incoming minutes and 5pm nights and weekends while they are at it!

Currently using Marquee on the $40/month plan.
Can we get a Galazy S3 here in June and pay $10 more per month and see 4g speeds?
Or maybe just get a S2 epic and see 4g speeds?

So I want to transfer my SERO to my friend. First I want to port out my number. I did an e-chat and the csr said if I ported out my account would be closed.
I then said I wanted to add another line. The csr said I he can't make another SERO line.
Anyone had luck adding a new SERO line lately. If you add a line do you have to have a 2 year contract?

June 21 is the expected release date for the Galaxy S3 and it is coming to Sprint but the date is not definite. If you do get the S3, you will be paying $50 per month. Getting 4G speed depends on if it is available in your area, whether you get it or not, the price is still the same.

And as you have seen the success stories have really hit bottom. Looks like Sprint is clamping down on adding SERO lines and even doing TOL's.

The CSR is correct. Once you port out your number, the account is closed and you won't be able to do a TOL. As I posted above, it's a real hit or miss on adding a line to your SERO account. I know I was told a couple months back by one of the CSR's that I could add up to 10 lines, but she didn't specify SERO lines. The only thing I can suggest is to try a couple of times per day, one in the am and one in the pm, just so you spread it out. I'm pretty sure you only get the 2 year contract once you activate a phone on the line, the contract doesn't come with the line.

Thanks for your comments. Has anyone done a TOL (passing liability to a friend) for a SERO-P account to someone else who is not a Sprint customer?

You can buy a phone that is on sale from BB (some other retailers but not sure who) and have it activated on your account. Or you can wait until your phone discount kicks in to get a new phone. You can also buy a phone from EB or CL but you'll probably be paying full price unless it's a used phone. Just make sure the EIN number is good before buying a used phone.

It's the same price at Best Buy. So are us Sero+P users relegated to always paying full price for a phone? Nobody has been able to get it for less than $199+T+activation?

No, we are not relegated to pay full price. The phone you want isn't on sale today at BB but it might be in the future. As I said previously, you can get a phone on sale or buy a phone from someone selling it EB or CL. You'll just have to bide your time and wait.

Any successful TOLs lately?

I heard even existing accounts with SERO not working.....
