Here are the steps I followed to get the $40 Sero Premium
Here are the steps I followed to get the $40 Sero PremiumThanks to "JBlade00" for his post http://slickdeals.net/forums/show...count=19 1. Added a new line of service as EPRP on 2/13/2011. I orderd the Refurbrished Blackberry Tour 9630 for $79.99 - $50 Web Discount. 2. The phone shipped on 2/14/2011 and my account was updated to reflect the new line. 3. I started a echat session this morning and said this:
5. Since the phone is a Refurb, it shows up with the $150 credit towards a new phone. I plan to use that later this summer when a new flagship phone (perhaps an EVO 2) is released. The phone is scheduled to be delivered today. 6. I plan to port my number from AT&T (i left Sero 500 for the Iphone a while back) and get that $125 credit. I hope this helps others get the Sero P. Note: I already had two SERO plans on my account - Sero 500 and Sero P 500 (recently converted from Sero 1250). LeadByXampl and others will follow

SERO TOL Success -- New EPRP -> TOL -> SEROP
I have discovered/confirmed a new method for doing a TOL of a SERO line to someone who is not currently a Sprint customer:1) Have new person sign up for an EPRP plan here: http://delivery.sprint Since you will ultimately be canceling this plan, you may as well choose the cheapest plan, and pick a phone that is free. 2) After new person's phone arrives & account is activated and ready, perform the TOL. Here is the method for performing the TOL (source [sprintusers.com]):
4) Within 30 days of opening the new EPRP line, new person calls Sprint back and cancels the original EPRP line for a full refund. Now you are left with only a SERO line on a brand new account, and you are not under contract from the original EPRP line. 5) Done! ![]() Notes: I have read that it is possible to open an EPRP account over the phone, but not choose a line or a phone to go with it. If this is true, you could avoid the hassle of ordering/returning the phone and canceling a new line. Didn't see any data option yet. Only a matter of time before we are footing that too. |

to be honest i dont mind if welfare receives such a small civil liberty. my family was on the system when i was a kid and it helped us a lot. with as advanced as technology now, everyone should be allowed free telephonic services. The data charges are what needs to be the main focus on charging.

Besides, when I visit "poor" neighborhoods, they have a lot more expensive cars on the streets and people wearing more gold than in affluent neighbohoods. There are more Lexuses (or is it Lexi for plural?) and Escalades per capita in the South Bronx than in Greenwich, CT. And almost all of them have 20" and bigger gold plated rims which cost a few thousand dollars per RIM!!! |

cell phones arent a luxury. maybe years ago but not now they are far too common, as i said its the data use of the phones thats the luxury. also ghetto's portray wearing more jewelry because in those areas every bit of bling is a status quo, for above avg people they dont need to show off bling if they have it, vs poor ppl they gotta to show they have 'something'.
i got warned because everyone else went off topic.

I will cancel the EPRP line within 30 days and I definitely have to return the phone that I got to go with that line right? (Just trying to con my way into an EVO or EVO Shift without waiting till I get my $150 credit on my SERO line in 8 months. And, yes, I know I would have to upgrade to the $50 plan if I went that route.) Thanks for all the info folks! Edit: And I can select any plan from the website right, like the "Everything Plus™ Data Family - with Any Mobile, AnytimeSM" which is the $39.99 plan - and then cancel it after my SERO line arrives? Ok, so I got my old SERO account converted to a SERO P account. I now want to add people to my plan and switch their plans to SERO P and then do TOLs.
Here's the scene: 2 people are current sprint customers in regular everything plans for $69. They are both currently in a contract on their own accounts. I want to bring them in then convert them and then do a TOL. Should be pretty straight forward. I did this in the past with reg SERO when it was more difficult to add lines and convert them. I already greased the skids and got an echat conversation, explicitly stating that I could add lines of service and convert them to SERO P. I realized from my previous experiences that I would need proof. Should I add lines with some generic plan then bring those two lines in? Or just try to do it one move? I dont want to order phones and stuff for these two lines because these people are not eligible for new phones at this point in time. They will be keeping their current phones, I'm just going to transfer them onto my plan for a month or so so I can convert them and then transfer them out. Third person is not a sprint customer. On Tmobile prepaid. They can get a new phone and want the EVO. Should I order that phone, set up the SERO P on it then port his number over and carry him for a month or so then do the TOL? Or should I have him go get the phone, sign up with sprint, start with the everything plan and then add him to my account, convert it to the SERO P plus $10 (4G) and then do the TOL? I know I can add upto 5 lines of service to my account and like I said, I have an echat conversation where it is stated explicitly multiple times with me summarizing that I can add lines to my account then convert those lines into SEROP. I plan on using that if there is any issue when I call Sprint to convert these lines. Any advice would be appreciated. TIA!! |
