New Q Shoppers, Don't be Scared! You Can Do This!!

I have a coupon question:

Say I have a full value coupon for a box of granola bars, and a store is having a bogo free sale on the same product. Could I use the full value coupon for one box and get the other box free? Or is there a policy against that?

Q Orgainization Help: I am new to the world of Q's and see that there are lots of different organizational systems (binders, special binder inserts, pencil bags, how to weed out old coupons, etc.) Thanks.

Organizing Coupons: What advice can veterans give to a person who is new to Q shopping? Particularly, how do you organize, weed out, separate for stores, etc... Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

In this forum, we are all here to help each other and learn. (Crikey. Almost two years since I have joined and someone had to explain what a particular smiley meant just last week. ) I learned something from a wise q girl a long time ago...."A coupon is a form of payment." Armed with that knowledge, don't fear using the q as long as you are using them as the manufacturer states.

I know there are a couple of websites around that offer to teach you how to coupon shop for a fee. I just wanted to take a moment to tell you there is NO NEED to pay anyone a fee to learn to shop. All you need is SD and the coupon love you can get here is amazing.

Coupon shopping takes one thing....the confidence to learn and try. It can be scary but you can do it. Again, no need to pay someone. There are many many Jedi masters here that like to help Padawans.

Is there a thread or discussion anywhere on how to file taxes running a couponing business by selling stuff obtained through couponing on eBay or Amazon? I'm trying to do it now and am trying to get through some complications. I know this doesn't qualify me as a "new coupon user," but I think this is the best place to ask.

I had a coupon loaded to my card at Rite Aid and it didn't come off. Decided to talk to customer service and they told me I am not allowed to use more than 2 coupons on the bogo 50% sale. She told me that means that I am only allowed to use one coupon that starts with 49 and one coupon that starts with 5. Did anyone else heard anything about that. She said it clearly states it in the policy.

You didn't specify what the RiteAid coupon & what the MQ were.

If the loaded coupons was something like $/2 and the MQ (starts with 5) was $/2, I would say the rep was correct but if the Qs were $/1 then you should have been able to use more than 2 coupons.

Anyway, I am no expert on RiteAid -- I just go in for the ice cream stand and clearance.
