I think the virtual machine 'trick' would be for 'smartsource' coupons.

PM me for the details. I found an old message with the registry key that needs to be edited. I don't want to make the information public as they may make their software smarter. Note that you likely need VMware Workstation 6.0 or later and a USB printer, as you need the USB printer connected to the VM. I don't think any MS virtualization products support USB devices.

Okay, so the info posted about changing the characters when I had my old computer. However, I just got a new computer (Vista is the Software on it) and when i tried to download the coupon software it tells me that i have to be connected to the internet first. Well, i don't understand that because I obviously am connected. I sent coupons.com a message asking for help and all they said was that they thought I was using a computer with a printer platform or something like that and to try to do it with their stand alone version. I did try that and still can't print and feel like it's hopeless. Does anyone have a solution on this weird message im getting to be connected to the internet first? I beg for any help............ Thanks soooooooooooooo much!!!

Check your internet settings and firewall. You want to make sure your computer is set to allow cookies, javascript, and ActiveX controls. If your firewall is blocking any of these things, that could be a problem.

Just saw a referral to this thread from another. Evidently the Mods didn't sticky it. In case anyone would like to sticky this, and doesn't know how, here you go - Go up to thread tools towards the upper right of the OP. Click on that, and a drop-down menu will appear. Click on stick the thread to the top. That's it. Next time you open the coupons thread, it will be shown there with the other stickys. HTH
