Wow - i just did it and it worked great. My $70 hotel is now $50 for the night. As soon as you pick the room it will take you to the "Rate Details" page - Under #1. be sure to click "I have a coupon" and you will immediately enter your code.

Lil secret here....I called the 800 at the expedia website and double checked on specific hotel's background....somehow I got a nice agent that insisted for me to book by phone, I said I rather use my own computer plus I hv a coupon....he told me he would make my coupon better if i booked online ( i didn't ask)...well got 50 off i/o 20. Maybe u can try!!! got a 140 hotel for 58 per night!!! thanks to OP, if not for her posting, i wouldn't get this great deal!!!

I needed to book an additional night, and the coupon either said "expired" or "already used" when I tried to re-book.... so after seeing salinasyabar's post I decided to call and see what i could do. The CSR said the coupon could be used per person (reservations for 2) but it didn't work.. so he said he'd apply his own discount for me which was $25 off, i/o $20 - not as slick as the deal above..but still better! Sweet...got 2 nights in seaside for only $77 (total savings ~$45) THANKS!! :)

Pretty good though!!! next time ask them if the can make it better than the 25 asking their supervisor...they might be able to.
Somehow I suspect CSR's get comission or at least .some kind of reward or meet a quota, because CSR insisted pretty badly that i made reservation online.

For anybody who missed this deal, NOV10 still works for $10 off per day (2 night minimum I think).
