I am not totally sure where my daughter and I will be shopping, but I do know we plan to be out and about to get the best deals on a 19" or 26" flat screen tv, accessories and games for a newly purchased Wii and a new digital camera. That being said, I going to guess that Best Buy, Circuit City, and Target (all our usuals) will be on our list. We generally also hit Kohl's, Walgreens, and Boston Store before we run out of steam. (All are in the Milwaukee area.)

Ok i won,now i have a question to those that won the t-shirt before, do they run small or large or average? For example i want a medium, are they girl's medium or guy's medium? I think it was more of a blind draw then last time, but I imagine there were certain minimum requirements of candidates, and rightfully so. Do you think that someone who has been an active contributing member of this site for years, should be passed up for someone who just signed up for an account yesterday only to get a shirt and will never login again? I don't.
I didn't win during the first contest, even though I would have qualified based on other people's stats that did win. Fortunately, I did win during this contest. w00h00. But yeah, if they did set minimums, I think they did the right thing. Because if I would have lost this contest too, and someone with 1 post and 10 reps said they won, I would have been royally pissed.

It was based on the same criteria as last time (join date / post count / reps / warnings / etc.) but with a much larger emphasis placed on the stores he / she would be sporting it at. We wanted a diverse crowd shopping at a diverse set of stores. If the user did not mention which stores they would be shopping at, we did not include them in the drawing since we specifically asked for that. It is certainly not a "blind draw" (is it really fair for someone who registered yesterday to get precedence over someone who has been here 3+ years and has all the credentials?) The initial drawing consists of ALL members who qualify, and out of those 200+, Mr. SD randomly chooses the 200. Hope this clarifies things.

It was COLD here in Wisconsin but I was excited to get out there and catch the deals as well as show off my shirt. So I wore a long sleeved long johns shirt with a long sleeved shirt over it and my SlickDeals shirt on top of that for everyone to see! :nod:

I made stops at Office Depot, Best Buy, Circuit City, and Kohl's. Then my mom and I went over to the Mall and we checked out ALL the stores there as well. And boy was the mall packed (my mom didn't think it would be :lol: little did she know)

I was asked MANY and COUNTLESS amount of times where they could get a shirt like mine. Some made a point of telling me that they were at the stores they were that morning because of the deals they found on this site :lol:

I think that even at $40, it's a bit high, at least for what i'm willing to pay, as i got a BR trench coat for less than that. I prefer the $15-20 range, i've gotten 4 dress shirts, 3 pants (all altered for free because i have short legs), and 5 sweaters within the last few months in that range from the regular store, thanks to their recent promos like $30 off $100, 25% off, 30% off, stackable 20+25%, etc. One shirt, i really liked and paid $35, but that's a rarity. Yeah, i'm a "thrift" BR shopper. :cool:

I wound up hitting Sear's by 5:30 (Tools), then went on to Home Depot(Ridgid 9gal shop vac and socket sets), Lowes(xmas storage bins B1G1), I drove past Target .(lol)and the lot was spilling out to the next door lot...so kept driving...went to Kmart...omg:eek:..fricking line to check out was wound all the way to the back opposite corner of the store...Frack that! so I went to breakfast...buddy of mine owns the restaurant, so after I ate, he and I went to OSH (Orchard Supply Hardware, Local CA chain, now owned by Sears) and picked up some jack stands as I needed to swap out my Transmission on my 2000 Chevy Silverado. (made it to 369,xxx miles for needing a transmission)

I looked like a total dork w/ only 2 hours of sleep, but I got 2 acer monitors from OD!!:D I did manage to hit up Target and Old Navy, but didnt bother using the camera since i was overly exhausted.

i bet only about 1/2 of us members actually bothered to fully participate in this winnin of the shirt.

More pics of Hubby than of me, since I was sick...and I threw in a pic of my birthday cake, since BF was my birthday!

i had to let my DH know that a few high school boys were checkin' me out in my attire tonight as i dropped off my DD at the HS for dance class. i twirled around to show DH my flawless outfit and then unzipped my skinny jacket to reveal my SLICKDEALS shirt. :lol:
it figures that the only place my shirt has been recognized is among high school students :shake: they were like, "look...a slickdeals shirt!'
i thought it was pretty funny!

Well, after 4 hours of sleep we left at 3:00 am. This is the back of my car after the first 3 stops. By the end of the day the back of my minivan was filled. I couldn't see out the back! We had fun and can't wait to do it again next year. Thanks SD!!! :woot:

I was a winner of this SD shirt..... but never received it.... yet.

I did go out BF shopping..... and had a GREAT time! We went to IKEA and to the Mall to Bath & Body Works! I also did some BF shopping...... Online!

Still hoping my SD Black Friday shirt will arrive in the mail.

I am so bummed out..... that it did not arrive before BF for me to wear while shopping.

sorry 4 the late post...but i took this BF "off" :omg: so first was a vacation pic...but the other pic was from a computer fest in Hong Kong...i thought i was among a BF crowd there...cant see me n my SD t-shirt cuz' i squeezed my way to grab a SMC wireless b/g router for US$12 n a 320GB 2.5" ext. drive for US$50 :D

took me a while to get my pic on the pc..but here you go - this is on bf...we hit all the stores first, but ended up snapping the pic at snip-its...getting my little girl a haircut...Thanks for the free t-shirt slickdeals.
