I was in Lowes last night and by the Christmas Shop were 2 displays of Energizer batteries. The 16 pack batteries have a coupon inside good for $10 off a $50 purchase at Lowes. The batteries were $9.97 + tax. I bought the batteries, took them to my car and took the coupon out, went back in and used it towards my $50 or more purchase. So, anyway you look at it, this was a good deal. Free batteries or $10 off the purchase! The coupon expires the end of Feb. 2009.

This is a lot like the Gatorade deal Lowes ran last summer, except you can't really get the coupon out in the store.

I saw this deal last weekend picking up by Bosh impact driver.

If you could find any battery coupons, this deal would be slicker.
