hi

i made a new user name and password for myself in windows XP pro and I lost the link for outlook express. Unfortunately, the "new" link to outlook express will not open my email account and when I look for the email account under options tab and the "email accounts" tab I do not see it. Have i lost all of the information for ever???

Also, the old username when you open xp is not available but I was able to locate its informtion folder on my hard drive where it stores the sattings for each user. (i tried the old link for outllok express and it did not take me to my email account)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks

umm email addresses won't get deleted unless it expired, on each new computer you'll have to set up your account again putting your previous email or new email address. I rarely use outlook express though but I think as long as you have the old email address and still remember the password you can still use it. also you can go to microsoft.com and go to the outlook express link over there

thanks for the info. I realize that can set it up again (fresh start) but I can't seem to get it so I can see old saved emails.
