Replace my Inspiron 1100 which use to be fast enough. Not any more after SP3 plus all the current virus and spy protections. Now it's way to slow to use.

I will use this laptop for researching the clean-technology field.

Use it for hours each day. I would benefit and get a lot of a laptop I can normally afford. This old E-machines is starting to kill me. In order for me to get online I have to restore it using the original cds at least once a week. It keeps my family and I online and able to use the Internet. Don't get me wrong, I am very thankful for what I have and love the fact that we are fortunate to even have a computer at all. In fact I wouldn't have ever seen this site or had a chance to even win a laptop if it wasn't for this old machines. I would almost be too lucky if choosen however. I bought this e-machines through free money George Bush gave me $600 back in August of 2000 and have been using it ever since. Some friends and others always kid me about the computer, but it does what it is supposed to and am happy to have it. I would be thankful with a new laptop and would be able to watch a lot of videos and listen to some music I am not able to now. I would also be able to get anti-virus by having free memory and be able to use much more efficient programs with free hard drive space. It would be great. I would also like to create a website with the laptop, it would be about fishing or hunting of course. I would feel very weird to take it with me everywhere I went and connect to the Internet. This laptop would give me the opportunity to start and run my own business and grow my family resources tremendously. We greatly benefited from the e-machines, we would shoot for the stars with a laptop.

I am taking the plunge and starting my own business. I would put the computer to good use.

I am a freelance computer consultant (A+ Certified), so I would use this laptop as a loaner for home clients who are considering a new computer or replacing their desktop. I typically add wireless routers to home DSL connections, so having a laptop to loan out would make everyone happy.

To make my wife and kids happy. So the Mom-In-Law can work from home on snow days. Thanks!!!!

I teach kids who are Homebound (can't go to school because of serious illness), and I use an online program. All of my students have their own laptops, but I don't have one of my own! So I would put it to GREAT use and use it when teaching my Homebound students.

I plan to use this laptop for my schoolwork. My parents dont make a lot of money to use on computers so this will definitely help my little brother and me get through school a little easier.

I'm looking for a system that my kids can use, which is portable. I need something they can use as portable entertainment but also do their homework on.

I would use it to for working and studying, I also would like to us it to play music for my daugher.

I plan to use the Vostro, that I will win, to travel back in time with and post this single entry on this thread, as I am doing now.
